basically i want someone to do a † symbol but upside down. i've seen it before as text and not a picture. i was able to copy & paste the symbol. but now i can't figure it out or find it on the internet for the life of me.

-|- ? In the right font it looks pretty good. Some sites have special commands for flipping text, but as far as I know it varies from site to site.

It wouldn't be very PC of Microsoft or Apple to include a inverted cross in their OS character map. I think it's usually done using custom fonts, which won't work on all sites.

I think what you're looking for is actually called an “inverted dagger”, if that helps any, but I've no clue how to get U+E023 to properly display…
