Zac Efron is au naturel—according to his friend Down Under.
About a week ago, Zac appeared in Earth Day! The Musical and seemingly showed off a facial transformation that sent the internet into a tizzy. Fans felt that he managed to "ruin" his "perfect face" by debuting a chiseled appearance.
Now, his Australian friend Kyle Sandilands is setting the record straight. The radio host opened up on The Kyle and Jackie O Show about Zac's look, saying that "of course" he didn't have any work done. "I would know if he'd had any plastic surgery," Kyle said.
According to the bud, there's no room for improvement when it comes to Zac's good looks.
"It's like getting a Picasso and having a kid finger paint all over it. Why bother?" Kyle said, comparing the actor's looks to a priceless artwork.
Other fans speculated that he might seem different compared to his High School Musical days because a lot has happened in the past 15 years. As some pointed out, Zac even broke his jaw in 2013, which could have contributed to any potential changes to his bone structure. At the time, he slipped in a puddle of water outside his L.A. house and had to get his jaw wired shut.
Speaking of changes, the bigger one in Zac's life is reportedly his break up with his Aussie girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares, after less than a year together. Two weeks ago, Kyle broke that news as well, saying, "I can also confirm after speaking with him yesterday."
The Baywatch star, 33, is still putting down roots in Australia, as his Los Angeles home is on the market for $5.5 million, according to the New York Post.
He's currently working on the projects Gold, Three Men and a Baby and Firestarter.
Bachelor Nation's Zac Clark Reveals Why His Mom Really Unfollowed Fiancée Tayshia Adams
Zac Clark, who won Tayshia Adams' heart on The Bachelorette, insisted there was no drama between Tayshia and his mom after fans noticed his mother unfollowed his fiancée.
There's no drama between Tayshia Adams and the mother of her fiancée Zac Clark—no matter what Instagram led fans to believe.
On April 30, Zac, who got engaged to Tayshia in the final episode of her season of The Bachelorette, spoke to Barstool Sports' Chicks in the Office podcast about the breakup rumors that circulated in March after his mom unfollowed Tayshia on Instagram.
"There was some s--t with my mom," Zac said. "My mom is 70-years-old, loves a glass of Chardonnay. I call her and I'm like 'Mom what's going on, why did you unfollow Tayshia?' And she's like, 'I didn't unfollow her.' But, Tayshia has this podcast, Click Bait. She said, 'I just kept getting all these things for Click Bait, and I didn't know what to do.' She probably did it accidentally, but you know, these people are out there, sourcing this s--t all day long."
The addiction specialist also shared that while he appreciates that fans support his relationship, it can sometimes get out of hand.
"It's always great to be loved, but at the end of the day we are in a relationship with each other, so all that noise and all that drama doesn't really matter," he explained. "Obviously, it can affect people, especially if it's negative, but I've gotten really good at the 'swipe and the delete.'"
Tayshia, who is currently co-hosting The Bachelorette alongside Kaitlyn Bristowe following Chris Harrison stepping aside from the dating franchise, responded to the split rumors in March. In addition to Zac's mom tapping the unfollow button, Bachelor Nation fans also thought it was suspicious that Tayshia wasn't wearing her engagement ring in a photo.
"OK. What? There's all these, like, weird rumors circulating around that I'm not wearing my ring and that Zac and I are broken up. I don't know what is happening," Tayshia said in a video on her Instagram Story. "You guys, I was holding my phone with my left hand."
She followed the video with a post on her Instagram Story that read, "I love that there's so much love & support around our relationship but please don't put unnecessary rumors/pressure on us."
After all, sometimes, an unfollow is nothing more than an accidental slip of the thumb.
